He should really be getting plugs instead of whatever this is. What kinds of surgery require overnight stays the day before? I've had ortho procedures and either taken family to surgery or gone to the waiting room. None of them required an overnight stay the day before and most were the first round of surgery of the day. You just show up to the hospital at 5:30 in the morning.
Is it common or do they know can bill this rube for an extra night?
