Does she think that MSNBC hires people with some kind of lottery system and everyone in the country has their name in it or something? Or is this just refusing to believe that white people occasionally are the most qualified for the job?

Factoring in the vastness of the universe, the probability of a human being picked for all 8 positions at MSNBC is 0. At least one of those jobs should have gone to a sentient cloud! Also, again factoring in all of space-time, the probability of Brianna Wu existing now on our Earth is 0 too, but sadly that is what we got.

I don't know what the pool of qualified applicants would be for the 8 MSNBC positions or even what they are, but I guess providing links or veritable facts is a power construct. I do have a pretty good idea for one of the reasons Revolution 60 sucks, though.
The percentage of female computer programmers is about 22%. IGDA claims that women make up 22% of the game industry workforce (I would not have used this on their word alone), so I'll assume that the 22% figure is reasonably close to the baseline.
Since we're only looking at the hires, we have 4 female hires. The odds of having 4 out of 4 positions filled by women independently of the applicant's gender is (0.22)^4 or 0.234256%. As Revolution 60 went on to lose over $300,000 conservatively, John's most compelling refutation of discriminatory hiring is the one he will never make.

My meagre math skills makes that out to only be about 12,000 tranny's across the US.

For such a small number why is the majority bending over backwards. That chance of meeting a tranny in your lifetime is about 1 in 135 million with these numbers.

I don't know where you're getting your math. 0.3% actually close to a million across the USA and my figures are about 3 in every 1000 people.

Where are you getting 12000, as even at the .01% figure, it's still about 32000 people.
 
In the 3 months or so that I slacked off watching this thread (moving sucks, new schedules suck even worse) I come back to 300+ more pages of thread, and the confirmation that Flu hasn't changed at all.

Has anything more developed in John's congressional run? I mean... I know it was going so well.

In late February John tweeted about the destructive power of private corporations dropping moon rocks into the Earth's gravity well, which was so utterly retarded that it started getting reported on by mainstream news. IIRC, the reporting was more what followed the tweet, namely Brianna dismissing the opinions of physicists and rocket scientists with accusations of "mansplaining".

Welcome back, @Pocket_Sand! Nothing really startling has happened during your absence. Just the usual Twitter ravings and displays of abject stupidity and profound ignorance from the tranny con artist. His latest plan is to spend campaign funds to travel to AltConf in California while -- as he did last year -- trying to deceive people into thinking he's at WWDC. He even sent out a tweet asking if anyone in the San Jose area has a house where he could make a campaign video in case the FCC asks her to justify spending campaign contributions on another vacation.

Maybe because right before her tweets about not being taken seriously she tweeted this:

I doubt these people Wu is supposedly lecturing are real. But I hope they are. And if so it should give a realization to Wu that RL is not like twitter where you can screech MANSPLAINER, block people and call it a victory. IRL people with more power than you have no obligation to listen to you.

Can you imagine, just for fun, that Brianna actually gets into Congress. You're a member of her team, young, this is your first political job and you're hoping it'll take you places. You come in for your first general meeting with congresswoman Wu. She's laid a big manifesto and has big ambitions so you're excited to see what her first course of action is. You sit down at the meeting table, surrounded by a perfect representation of the US population. She even landed a transgender native American! Wu walks in, looking a lot more haggered than you remember. Introductions are made, alligence to black lives matter is made. Everyone checks their privilege. Brianna stands up.

"First order of business: did you guys see Game of Thrones last night? How awesome was that?"

This carries on for another hour. Then a discussion about abortion is made. Everyone agrees they're awesome and republicans are Hitler. Brianna talks about computer security for another hour. Early lunch. Brianna is not seen for another four hours. You remember this was an unpaid position.

You might have missed Wu's campaign financials being filed. I recommend looking for them on the Wu campaign subforum.
