One of the things I like best about Flynt/Wu's unending avalanche of lies is the fact that he can't keep himself from gilding the lily by adding stupid details to his fantasies. In this example, he claims that a bunch of airmen are just hanging out on a street corner -- OK so far -- in their "full dress uniform" -- and anyone familiar with the military immediately thinks "bullshit."

And at the beginning of the story the guy is an airman hanging out with his buddies; at the end of the story, all of his buddies are, for reasons unexplained, in the Navy. Again, the reader thinks "bullshit." (Later in the thread, someone actually calls Flynt/Wu on this point. His response unintentionally makes it pretty clear that he made the whole thing up.)

My favorite part is when the sole woman in the thread comments that it's messed up for a guy to jump on a girl's bike and that she feels threatened when guys ogle or crowd her, John is like "it means they like you!"
He then goes on to explain that he doesn't wear safety gear that obscures his "womanly figure."

Whenever I see lists like this these days, I immediately think "what trannies are they going to be pushing for over real women". Sure enough, about half the list are trannies. Of course, anything that presents Wu as something credible is a joke.

Are you sure? At least some of these look like they could be actual professionals - some have engineering jobs at places like Microsoft and Intel. And then it goes all the way down the seriousness scale till we have people whose job is "actress and model", Leigh Alexander, and yes, John Walker Flynt.
Most of them just look like early to mid-career people in startups looking for exposure.

The funniest part is that they alphabetized this all by first name. Because really, who cares? Just pick a woman, any woman. Experienced, inexperienced, skilled, unskilled, doesn't matter. Just pick a woman. That's the message I'm getting.
