Nothing too surprising here really. As others have pointed out, the biggest expense was $6K of "reimbursements" to Frank.
Would it be possible for Frank to save on taxes by dumping money into this campaign fund and then get it back through "reimbursements"?
Rather, is there something in the code which could lead to such a decision from a man so megalomaniacal that he started undermining his first wife's career when she was getting too independent?

I'm a disappointed, only 21k?

That's chump change for a Senate race. I honestly expected the SJW crusaders would at least be able to hit 100K.

What's Johnny going to do with only 20K?

Tweet a lot. Duh.

The more money John gets, the better, since it's all going to be stolen and misappropriated. And then reported to the FEC.

Politics is rife with this kind of fraud and corruption. Except now you can do it all out in the open because as long as you report it, no one bats an eye.

I doubt Wu's chicanery is that much removed from what the FEC sees every month. On one hand he's small potatoes so they might not even pay attention. On the other hand he's small potatoes so they might use him to make an example (as he has no political powerbase). I doubt it though.

I'm going to go the other direction and say I'm surprised the donations weren't much higher. She had puff pieces in a bunch of national media outlets over the last couple months. New York Times, CNN, Huffington Post, The Ringer, and most of the local Boston news outlets covered it too. She could only parlay that into $21k?

It does seem like a nice scam though. The only legitimate expenses went to the website. A good chunk of the money seems to be funneled to Frank. The rest is going to pay for vacations and electronics. Apparently the head of a video game studio didn't have the equipment necessary to produce a YouTube video.

The FEC won't care because it's small time and this shit goes on with a lot of people. It doesn't bother me either. Anyone who donates to politicians, especially con artists like this, deserve to have their money squandered on video game systems, 4-star hotels in Manhattan, and overrated sub shops.

I'm guessing most of the people that give Wu asspats on twitter aren't bringing in a lot of money. I know there are countless examples of SJW's throwing their money away on useless things, but I think most of the garbage they throw money at is for something that ultimately has a payout for them, like kickstarter rewards or shout outs at a certain patreon level or whatever. People will gladly support Wu on twitter and make it sound like they're supporting him, but because there's no actual reward for them outside of looking enlightened or woke or whatever the fuck buzzword they're using, they won't physically donate.

Wu doesn't have the same level of support as someone like Greta does with her scam. From what I understand, even with all the twitter asspats, he's also ostracized a lot of people and is just seen as a joke. I bet if he was running at the height of Gamergate he'd be able to get a lot more pitybux out of the whole scam. It's also still relatively early, so he'll continue to rake in scam money during the election cycle.

Dale Hofmann, Lawrence, KS - General Dynamics IT. This place makes camera systems to secure the Mexican border

Someone else might want to make a list of all academics, but there's probably no point. I already got the ones who work for state universities. The rest are probably safely ensconced in hugboxes.

EDIT: one more pseudo-celebrity sighting: Graham Rowat is a Broadway actor in "Sunset Boulevard" as well as a Bioshock voice actor.

You're doing God's work, friend.
Also NielBreenLover96, $21,000 is nothing. It wouldn't even cover a regular advertising campaign on local television, let alone the various paraphernalia she'd need to produce. Lynch is working with at least a million bucks.
Not that this matters to Wu--she'll spend it all on Potbelly Sandwiches and shitty mobile games anyway.

Note: We live in a reality where something called "Downers Grove" exists.

You can go most of your life without knowing this fact, but it is a fact.

there used to be a Games Workshop "bunker" there, which at one point was supposed to be their biggest US location. no idea what's occupying the space now, but the laser tag place next door hasn't gone away.

Never gonna contribute to a political campaign! I guess I knew that it was public info but didn't know it was so accessible. Could there be a kiwi on there somewhere:optimistic:?

Don't worry; I'll continue anonymously donating to the Troons4Office! super pac to keep the party going.
The only party I donate to is the New World Order

I made another simplified CSV file for campaign expenditures. I collapsed some of the stuff like "Individual vs Organization", because Frank Wu was the only individual. You know, because there are no staff, or at least no paid ones.

Nothing too surprising here really. As others have pointed out, the biggest expense was $6K of "reimbursements" to Frank. Then about $3K worth of tech toys from B&H (why them?) , and then about $2K for "NGP VAN" which is a software suite for running political campaigns.

One thing that strikes me as odd - John spent about $1200 on Amtrak but never took a plane. Why on earth not, when he's spending other people's money? Is his goliath-like frame too gargantuan for economy-class airplane seats? Does the TSA always give him a hard time for being such a suspicious weirdo? Or is he on a no-fly list? :islamic:

"Category codes" are here:
http://www.fec.gov/finance/disclosure/metadata/DisbursementCategoryCodes.shtml
Most of Frank's kickbacks are improperly categorized as "travel expenses".

I like all of the "reimbursements" to Frank. Gee, totally not a sham to get money from the rubes

Even if that $6K just disappears off the government's radar, he'd only be saving what, $2-3K of taxes if he's in the highest tax bracket. That's what always has baffled me and always will. Why even bother committing crimes for what's probably a few days' worth of salary for Frank?

I don't entirely agree with their analysis of the expenditures. They were bagging on Wu for not donating to charity, but this is still a shoestring operation in the grand scheme of things. When you're a small-time candidate, the best way to honor your donors is to use all of the money for actual campaigning. Which, of course he hasn't.
I admire these guys' patience for working entirely off of the PDFs though :geek:
Everyone should at least listen to the part of this where they analyze the campaign logo, I was dyin'

We weren't nagging wu for not donating to charity. We were comparing expenditures - Lynch is deeply engaged in the local community, Wu is busy having lunch in Brooklyn.

Yes John, we already know you can play as Peach so it's the best game ever, we get it.

I hope John and Frank end up in prison and are forced to get White Power tattoos on the faces while being skullfucked.

He is remembering one of his old lies, just like Philly boy does "when i was a little girl i played Super mario bros 2 and it blowed my mind", this lie fluctuate from time to time because he barely mention the NES , he like to jump straight to his lie of the Net Yaroze to sounds more pro

Oh shit, man. She's actually filed her accounts.

http://docquery.fec.gov/pdf/746/201704159052253746/201704159052253746.pdf

This has got to be illegal right? She's basically using her campaign as a slush fund, the majority of the outgoings have been "reimbursements to Frank Wu for campaign expenses." The rest is meals and snacks in amounts suggesting she was the only diner, but they're listed as campaign expenses. Surely you can't proxy money through a someone else to avoid transparency, you'd have to set up a formal loan to the campaign and list the repayments, and disclose what the money actually paid for.

This is all sorts of fucking shady. And yeah, she doesn't have anywhere near enough money to hire one staff member, let alone 3.

There is something really really weird about that thing but the one that took the cake was this

Also Frank doxxed himself, thank you Frank now we now where to send the Race war van

Screenshot_1046.png

And Doxxed his family too

The file is full of really weird stuff like for example a guy that do pest control in california gave John 100 bucks, a minister from a church in MI also donated to him, remember that john hate any kind of christianity so i cant imagine he going to talk with a minister about making a bolder democratic party

Also they wasted 300 bucks in a hotel to "campaign" in washington, 200 bucks in amazon for "equipment for producing videos" and the rest is just him going to restaurants and using Uber because john cant drive

I don't know, and call me paranoid but this thing smell very fishy
