So the government should be expected to pay for gender dysphoria treatment too, right John? :^)

What a dumb analogy.

Dentist:
Simple outpatient treatment that is a minor inconvenience.

Addiction and depression:
Complicated entity that often requires being committed to an institution for months at a time, and requires long term, expensive management that likely lasts for a lifetime.

...Is that a widespread worry? I've literally never heard of anyone outside of Wu and homeless schizos claim that we're under threat from moon invaders.

I like how even they have to point out how stupid Brianna's statement was but if you sorta-kinda squint a bit it kind of makes sense I suppose, in a way...? Can't just call a woman wrong. That would be patriarchal.

...Is that a widespread worry?

It's a very long article, but skimming it, the "widespread worry" line is tongue in cheek with the rest of the piece. After mentioning the "widespread worry" he brings up other fiction about Moon-originated attacks:

Some of the widspread worry about the moon said:
In the cosmology of David Icke, the conspiracy theorist best known for his insistence that most world leaders and politicians are shape-shifting alien lizards, the moon is a vast artificial satellite put into orbit by alien forces, and causing something called the “Moon Matrix”: a powerful broadcast signal that blocks out humanity’s interdimensional capabilities and keeps us locked in the world of our five senses.

P.S. Fondling your minced cock is not shaking hands on the campaign trail.
Sure is easy to come up with excuses for literally anything when you have no accountability for anything you do. Still, it's funny that he even bothers coming up with excuses at all, but I guess it's all part of the performance.

Attaching full picture of the bike, and going by what we know is inside the house, the bike is OBSESSIVELY cleanhas never seen real use before, ever.

Take a look at the chain and rear wheel. Bone dry, not a trace of lubricant. You don't clean that part off, you need to keep it greasy. (Not that Wu cleans a fucking thing anyway)

Wu might actually die if Twitter went away. That thing is such a large part of her life and she's done God-knows-what to keep a stranglehold on her influence there that I don't see her coping well without it.

Even science fiction doesn't really use the premise that much anymore because it's not conventional and there are a million better and more creative ways to wage war on a planet you and your enemies are stuck on. We've been killing each other off pretty damn efficiently just using terrestrial things. I mean, currently we're shitting ourselves because people figured out how to put a bomb in electronic devices like laptops while still making them functional. I imagine most people are more concerned with the idea of being blown up on their next flight rather than a company somehow managing to magically produce a sustainable moon base that rips chunks out of the moon then fires them at the earth for inexplicable reasons.

So now this asshole is just flat out lying about meeting people on the "campaign trail" when nothing of the sort ever happened.

No one "figured" that out. The most common type of batteries used in tablets, laptops, and cell phones almost explode when they're punctured. My guess is someone made a threat and the risk of these batteries being used as explosives has always existed. All you do is puncture them, but even then they're not very explosive, they vent a lot of very hot gas however.

Whatever airports decided to "ban" devices bigger than cell phones 1. are too dumb to see the risk posed by cell phone batteries and 2. too dumb to realize that these batteries have been dangerous for years, and it took someone threatening them with a specific case to understand the risk of lithium ion batteries on your plane

No, I'm talking about actual bombs specifically made to fit into a laptop and get the all-clear from the security machines. While they're not going to blow up the plane, they will compromise the hull if detonated in the right place.

I'm amazed Wu, the globetrotter (She's been to Canada!), hasn't chimed in on this yet.. unless I missed it.
