There is no damned sport called "sharpshooting," Flynt/Wu, you utterly gormless twat. There is also no sport called "marksmanship." There are a large number of shooting sports, and you don't seem to know the names of any of them.

Those posts read like they were written by someone who has never seen a gun, much less a firearms competition of any type.
 
Wu, people LIKE being in tree stands and hunting IRL. Most hunting is like going hiking, except with guns, and then you get free food at the end when you make a kill.

Not everyone wants to LARP as a badass by "practicing marksmanship" and "sharpshooting". Most people WANT to get outside, away from the wife and kids, and drink beer in a tree stand all day, or go spend a nice day walking around outside while you hunt - as in, search for - animals, which you can then display as trophies, or eat. A VR solution is absolutely useless to replicate these things.

It's also useless in providing personal and home defense. It's further useless in preparing people to react properly in a defensive situation, because they have to load the gun and hold their hands steady - it's not as simple as waving a sensor. There's kickback. There's reloading actual ammo that's not just a gesture in virtual space.

And no one is clamoring for these experiences to be made into an app.
 
Ive never hunted , but I do fish and I generally believe that hunting itself encourages and preserves good bushcraft, a deeper understanding of nature ,and is all round good for your heatlh mentally and physically...

Wu level of understanding is like playing GTA and thinking you know how to drive,fly,shoot and run a drug cartel..
