Ah, yes, and when you're class president at last you'll abolish homework and every Thursday will be a field trip to Disneyland.

I see that the concepts of "jurisdiction" and "federalism" don't taint John's idea of how government in a federal republic works. Local prosecutors can't do jack shit if local laws aren't involved. Federal prosecutors have to deal with federal offenses, which institutional finance shit tends to be (the good news, John, is that you're running for FEDERAL office, where you can support legislation there!). It's the flip side of that whole deal where states are decriminalizing marijuana and municipalities are passive-aggressively posturing as "sanctuary cities", things Mrs. Wu no doubt supports (or at least should posture about supporting if one is going to be running for office as a progressive Democrat).

But let's continue with the "If I Were King" bullshit posturing. It's fucking hilarious to see the total lack of understanding how any of this functions.
