Two things jump out at me. First, the 'engineer' and all-around wunderhacker Wu seems to be proud of the fact that he's playing a game on a console ("Console all the way"). Not that there's anything wrong with playing a game on a console, but it seems a weird thing to be excited about. Maybe Wu is anti-PC Master Race?}:P

Second, someone mentions the criticism about the animations and Wu responds with technobabble. I honestly have no idea if that word-salad means anything (Wu's totes a game developer, and I'm not- just like he's a moon tactician and I'm not) but it's a little funny to see it there after he just talked about how 'we' (democrats) shouldn't talk in incomprehensible gibberish. Wu could have probably said whatever he was trying to say without the industry buzzwords- but then he would sound common. Alternatively, he could be using a professional twitter account for his campaign so as to separate it out from his constant personal nonsense. You know... like what a serious candidate would do.

Also, if an aspect of a game is shit, people do not need to understand why it is shit nor do they necessarily need to have 'empathy by not criticizing it'. The people who created the game are on the hook for that, particularly when plenty of other games have gotten it right.

Edit: I thought it was weird that Wu was getting so indignant about animation criticism (he has since tweeted a few more times about the subject). I assumed it was because Wu is sensitive about being criticized, having designed a video game that was panned by users. Turns out there's another rub- the current criticism about ME's animation landed on a WOMAN and suddenly it's all harassment and gamergate.

Wu hate's PC's, it's why he never uses the one he made for VR. Also, as someone working with Unreal Engine, Cryengine 5 and Unity Engine 5 for fun, he has no idea what the fuck he's talking about. He's just stringing together words trying to sound like he knows the subject.

He tends to disengage if it's someone he can't claim some degree of sexism against. It makes the small "Mansplainer!" chimpouts on twitter all the more bizarre since it shows that John can control himself but chooses not to. It's also funny/sad to see John flat out ignore someone because they're a woman but will engage with every guy he disagrees with.

Rather see more people who know what they're doing so we don't see another Revolution 60 come out, or Mass Effect Andromeda. Gender has nothing to do with it.
