This was actually a good point, and should have been left at the second tweet. The odd moments where Wu is actually reflective are always an oddity to me. It's like Wu hits an actual good point, then immediately afterwards takes a sharp left turn right back into lunacy and shrieking about mansplaining again.
 
I am torn. On one hand I really want Wu to win because it would be funny to see her as a senator. On the other hand she is not a good example of what liberalism is about. Her
winning might hurt left wing politics going forward, and push moderate individuals to the right.
 
While Wu would undoubtedly provide entertainment if elected, I feel we should try to ensure that never happens, at least for the benefit of the residents of the 8th District of Massachusetts.

No one deserves Wu as their Representative.. no one.

John isn't running for Senate, though. He's running in a highly blue collar district against a very safe candidate who won't even acknowledge his existence until very shortly before the primary.
 
Speaking as a drunken idiot who used to live in boston and take the t, its really not that hard to find your car/transport and whatever she said is stupid and wrong in many ways.
I think we all know Wu is stupid but I can tell you from my own experience that she's really that stupid.
 
I want John to win. I want his very unique brand of insanity to get a national platform. And there's always the very real possibility he'll misuse campaign funds or accept a bribe and end up in prison.

In all fairness, if an entire congressional district somehow threw all rationality and sanity to the wind and elected Flynt over what appears to be a decent and well-received moderate... they would deserve every bit of it.

Don't think she's talking about herself in those tweets. She means those other Democrats that aren't hip and with it like she is.

Wu could have probably said whatever he was trying to say without the industry buzzwords- but then he would sound common. Alternatively, he could be using a professional twitter account for his campaign so as to separate it out from his constant personal nonsense. You know... like what a serious candidate would do.

Also, if an aspect of a game is shit, people do not need to understand why it is shit nor do they necessarily need to have 'empathy by not criticizing it'. The people who created the game are on the hook for that, particularly when plenty of other games have gotten it right.

Edit: I thought it was weird that Wu was getting so indignant about animation criticism (he has since tweeted a few more times about the subject). I assumed it was because Wu is sensitive about being criticized, having designed a video game that was panned by users. Turns out there's another rub- the current criticism about ME's animation landed on a WOMAN and suddenly it's all harassment and gamergate.

This said, you'd think Wu would shut the fuck up right here. Revolution 60 seems to be better-written than Andromeda.

I can't imagine wanting her to win. I have big enough issues on principle with her making as much money as she does on Patreon for doing nothing. No way I could handle her getting a Congressional salary for being insane without going into full on foaming at the mouth A-log "THIS IS BULLSHIT."
