Frank's career has gone nowhere but up since we started chronicling the Wus though. He's living this way by choice, make no mistake.
My guess is that either he's trying to cut way back so he can rebuild the $400K he flushed on Rev60, or he's just the kind of nerd who doesn't really care about finery as long as he can be a big wheel on the sci-fi con circuit.
Rev60 fucked them over really good and I've said it before but I'm surprised they didn't file bankruptcy.

Frank either had tremendous savings or John had a trust fund. Either way they are broke with bills and that's why they're slumming it.

John called an Uber to look for his own car? And brought a reporter along for this? :story:
Flynt For Congress just keeps getting better, I swear.

Doesn't John realize that Uber is basically Rent-a-Trumpmobile to the SJWs he's pandering to?

John "Brianna Wu" Flynt didn't want the reporter to know she can't legally drive so she made up forgetting where she parked and called an Uber. Holy shit.

Even if he did drive, who would just give up on looking for their car in a parking structure and call for a ride home? How can a guy that lies on a daily basis be this bad at lying?

That's the last straw.

Unsubscribing from every Bill Simmons related podcast I have on my device because of this soft as baby shit 'reporting' right now . . .

He doesn't know shit about sports either so I won't be missing anything astute.

I don't know - that part was really weird. It strongly implied Brianna drove them from the station in the TT and then later lost the car and Uber'd around to find it. I was really puzzled by that.

Even taking this story at face value, would you donate money to a candidate so fiscally irresponsible that they would pay for an Uber to drive around a parking lot looking for their car instead of using their feet like a normal human being? I know I would!

"We need women to run for office and to vote with our lived experience. - Brianna Wu

Shes lived as a woman for 10ish years, so shes running as a teenager or a prepubescent girl?

Starting to make sense now

Since we have Wu's articles circulating, I thought it fitting to break out the bingo board:

I'm confused, and not in the usually "how te fuck does this idiot function" way John usually makes me confused.

At the start of the article, the writer clearly states that Wu picked them up at the station and even goes out of her way to mention "as she sits in the drivers seat of her Audi TT".
But then the article ends with a discombobulated journo claiming Wu had to call an Uber because he couldnt remember where he parked.

I'm double-discombobulated. :(

We've got all four corners and a few lines.

There's a twitchy old lady in the front mumbling something about "hurry up with the trannies".

Despite having parents with money that funds her lifestyle and a sheltered upbringing she's resentful towards them and imagines she's had a tough life, tougher and harder than everyone else's.
Her CV is four pages long despite never actually doing anything of value and it's filled with exaggerations, trumped up achievements, falsehoods and what can charitably be called lies. I mean, who lists courses one flunked multiple times or dropped out of during the first weeks as a merit? Without mentioning the flunked/dropped out of part, of course. She's a Flynt in training, except being a cis-woman.

And like Wu, she's gonna marry some beta male who makes decent money and will keep bankrolling her cause du jour in order to get pity blowjobs and not get sreamed at too much

ah good, IWC has saved me triple posting.

Does anyone think Frank may be slowly realizing what a vampiric waste John is? Seriously, he was living in a big house (albeit a filthy dust trap), with a big salary and didn't have to pay for endless wastes of money from his failure of a dude-wife.
If they are dropping over $2000/month on rent they aren't hurting at all for money. I kind of think you're right, but it's not the money, Frank is a nerd who can buy all the Star Wars knick knacks he wants so he's content financially. The real issue is that in the few years since GamerGate John went from looking 30 to looking 50. Normal people don't age that fast. I suspect the cigarettes are part of it, but I bet there's more.

If Frank is still young enough to be horny he might dump John, but would you want to face John in divorce court? It would get very nasty. I think Frank sees John like an old woman sees a chihuahua: it gives them something to fuss over and take care of, giving their life some meaning. So I think Frank wants to keep John around for security in his old age, but I don't know how he's handling the realization that John is already starting to look like Skeletor.

John routinely falls for the dumbest shit like that ultra basic phishing scam and doesn't read anything. Going out on a limb here, but I imagine Frank would tear Brianna apart in court worse than whoever did her plastic surgery. If he got a prenuptial (and as a twice divorcee why wouldn't he), there's no telling what he put in there. Not like Brianna will read it.

You'd have to be on some pretty heavy drugs to mistake John for a woman, an engineer, or a non-joke Congressional candidate.

Isn't it well established at this point Frank is almost as manipulative and conniving as Brianna? Are we supposed to feel for him or not?

I don't feel for him, I just want to see him fuck over John savagely in some genuinely sadistic way.

I've got Flynt smoking crack rocks on the end of his cigs brand of choice at least three times a day. Under duress it probably goes up by twice as much.

One of the running themes that's been documented in this thread (I haven't look back over the two old ones) is John's very public and oft-documented near-abuse of Frank. If it came to it, I think Frank could make a hell of a case for mental cruelty. Two or three meltdowns in court on John's part (can you see him keeping it together in a courtroom, during his own divorce trial?) and you're a long way toward Frank getting whatever the hell he wants.
