Stephen Lynch took in about $1.2 million in his recently-ended House campaign, about $850K of which was from individual donors.
To put that number in perspective, Kevin McCarthy (House majority leader, CA-23) took in $7.8 million, and John's parents' congressman, Steven Palazzo (MS-4) took in about $780K. The idea that Lynch is buying the election like some Mr. Burns caricature is ludicrous.

What's so funny about this is Donald Trump's presidential campaign raised $100m+ on people from the lower end of the spectrum donating $200 or less.

Can a kind Kiwi tell me anything regarding the financial aspects of campaigning? Or have useful links. As in...

Does it look like Wu has spent anything yet? The videos so far are filmed and edited by Wu and Frank, 24/7 tweets are free and I assume money doesn't change hands for the interviews.

Can anyone predict what Wu might have to spend money on? It's common here in UK to mail pamphlets in the relevant neighbourhoods, so that's one expense that comes to mind if similar is done in the States. I guess I'm wondering what Wu'll spend versus a serious, professional person like Lynch.

If I remember correctly, it was mentioned that each April the finances must be filed or something. Is that public? If so, how detailed will it be? Will it include the amount of donations? Kiwis in Discord seemed quite excited about April.

Sorry for the question bombing! I can imagine them cutting corners wherever possible, either through having a small budget or stupidly hoping they can pocket money even if it's against the rules.
