Everyone is already well aware that Walt Disney had some problematic views, but the thing is Walt has been dead for decades now and no longer has any real effect on the company anymore so it's irrelevant. A million dollar internet celebrity they've endorsed saying antisemetic bullshit at a time when they are focusing on presenting an inclusive and progressive image is a current issue and they are currently are handling the situation.
Once again, there was no real reason for Wu to have made those comments, she's just calling out a much more successful and beloved company as a way to make herself feel like a big boy.

Politician Wu is a nightmare. Two years of Wu childishly taking shots at Lynch on twitter is going to get really tedious really fast, even for her diehard asspatters. At least with game developer Wu she couldn't fake the technical knowledge that was required to prop up her charade and was confined to endlessly asserting that she was a software engineer. This new pose gives her free rein to indulge all the worst aspects of her character.

Back when I actually had a Twitter account I gave a fuck about, I'd routinely get notices from extremely obvious spambots. Every trending hashtag is full of Russian bots posting porn and shit under usernames like @fdhjvghffhtdv6547. The fact that Flynt thinks he's being deliberately targetted speaks volumes about his massive ego.
