I mentioned this a while back, but it's not actually quite as moronic an idea as it sounds. There are rich, lily-white areas of Boston where the churches sport huge permanent "Black Lives Matter" banners. There are plenty of lefties up there who are sympathetic with BLM and don't have to worry about suffering the negative consequences of a full-on BLM protest in their neighborhood. For them it's a safe virtue signal for right-thinking upper-middle-class progressives.
The Wus picked a bad district to peddle this stuff in, but in their area it's not that far out of the mainstream.
