God damn it I wish I had booked a hotel in D.C. for the 20th and 21st. I can't believe he actually got off his lanky ass to do something other than buying cigarettes and nerf guns.

So pretty much his sleazy lawyer wrote up a contract that allowed John to cut down his employees' salary to $1.01 if they crossed him? As they say: wow.

EDIT: this may have also been an end-run around paying unemployment in the case of a laid-off worker. This is one bold Democratic Party coming up!

I just had to go through my salaried employee contract. This is too good to not read legal fine print. My contract is with a huge megacorp that was bought out by a huger megacorp so they can flip it to an even huger megacorp. In it, my employee contract:

- clearly states my salary
- clearly states my start date
- clearly states reasons for termination
- clearly states raises, bonuses, etc...
- clearly states my paid time off, sick days, personal days policies

This is one of the scummiest things John has ever admitted to. "You'll only get paid a dollar plus whatever we feel like paying you" is most certainly not a standard (nor an acceptable one at that), and will not go over well at all with the working class people he's trying to appeal to.

Imagine how divorced from reality you have to be to admit to doing this. Jesus Christ, saying you staffed your company with independent contractors from Craigslist is so much better than whatever the fuck this is.

If it's a contractor and not an actual employee, then no it doesn't violate minimum wage laws. That being said, I've NEVER done contract work where the amount of money was not spelled out in all facets of the contract - and anyone that does sign a contract like this is fucking stupid as hell.
 
I just wanted to add that I used to call John Flynt "Brianna Wu" just out of respect for transexuals in general, but that admission pushed me over the edge. John Flynt is not a human being wort any notion of respect. John Flynt is an abussive, sub-humn piece of trash. John Flynt is an exploitative piece of shit on the level of big banks and telecom company executives.

I'm not a lawyer, but the legality for something like this seems pretty flimsy at best. It's clearly crafted so that John can constantly move the goal posts and pay them whatever he wants to, when ever he wants. You can actually get a lawyer to draft anything you want. Whether or not it actually holds up in court is another matter entirely. Beyond this, I really can't imagine John actually taking anyone's advice on any thing that contradicts his delusional world-view. As such, I can imagine the lawyer explaining to him that "these clauses you are asking me to add are crazy and won't hold up in court" and John refusing to take the advice and the lawyer, wanting to get paid, just throwing their hands up and just taking the money, knowing full well that due to the parties involved, and their infamous lack of follow-through, it was pretty unlikely that the contract would ever be tested in court through litigation,

I simply can't imagine any kind of competent, skilled professional accepting an arrangement like this. I realize that John had a gaggle of unsophisticated, entry level bottom feeders who were mostly sourced from craigslist as employees. Still, even a desperate freelancer with any actual experience at all would take one look at John, realize he is insane, and demand at least a third of the money right up-front.

Jesus the arrogance. As if Russia gives a fuck about some congressional seat. This is laying the groundwork for his loss, it was Putin's fault, along with trump for some reason. You know your endeavor is doomed when your spinning stories about your loss 2 years before the election.
