She's still saying she was 19 when she started her first company, when in fact she was 21. It's like her personal mythos is so deeply ingrained that she's even begun to believe it herself.

I really hope the press does their fucking job and tears her a new urinary tract over this. Surely she can't believe her fabricated past will pass muster now she's supposed to be a politician.

The funny thing is, if Brianna does somehow bring tech and bio tech jobs to Boston, shell just end up gentrifying poor neighborhoods and forcing many of her constituents out of their homes. It happened in every other Tech city.

It only takes one journalist to break the narrative and start a feeding frenzy. With other anti-GamerGaters like Chelsea and Randi, they rely heavily by portraying themselves as inconsequential concerned citizens. Chelsea and her friends on various forums portrayed any discussion about the COIs surrounding Chelsea as a violation of Chelsea's privacy to justify their comment graveyards and blanket suppression. You can still find mounds of dirty laundry if you know what you're looking for (or read the comments on any article), but they've been able to avoid answering for it by claiming they're just concerned citizens who are having their privacy violated.

That doesn't fly when you're a political candidate speaking to political journalists. Randi even spoke up against Wu running, not because she gives half a fuck about some congressional district on the east coast or Wu, but because Randi has been on panels with Wu in the past and is likely under the impression this will dissuade that meaner breed of journalist from getting into her business when they smell blood.
