Damn, I'm only there tomorrow. I doubt Johnny will actually get off his ass to march or "protest." But I'm hoping for pictures of this cow in the wild all the same.

I think the real issue with Trump is that he seems to just go with the flow of whatever people are saying around him, so with congress is now controlled by republicans the fear is that they will make strides to make getting women's services much harder than they already are. I don't know if republicans really hate planned Parenthood as much as they do or if they are just using it as a boogeyman of the day. The funny thing is, officially, the government does not even reimburse them for abortion services. But most people will choose not to hear that.

I could see her really being there since it plays to so many of her obsessions:

1. The need for attention.
2. The need for acceptance from actual women.
3. Her love of playing at being a DC socialite and political player.

It's somewhat tempting for me to go and see the freak in person but the Metro will be so shit that day.

Given how the march has started banning certain women from participating in said march and how it keeps fighting among themselves, I don't see Wu being allowed to march with them.
 
It's amusing that she hasn't even bothered to go to Lynch's wikipedia page to read about his electoral history.

That's an impressive level of laziness that must have taken decades of study and practice to perfect.

Is it possible -- I mean is it remotely possible -- that this grown-ass adult, who worked in politics closely enough to have a photo taken with Janet Reno, and who is now allegedly running for a frigging Congressional seat, is so abysmally ignorant of the most basic precepts of American government that he had to look up the function of the House of Representatives on a cheat-sheet website?

He's a moron. It was designed to mirror the UK's parliament, with senators appointed, not elected.

Just like you don't get elected to the House of Lords. You get assigned to investigate the Labour party's antisemitism and release a report whitewashing over reality. Then you get your seat.

The founders DESIGNED the House to be responsive to the people by not letting the people directly elect representatives to the house. That required a constitutional amendment in 1913. I'm sure the founders DESIGNED that amendment after coming out of their graves.
