Well, King's Arrow Ranch is indeed a location near where John grew up, so he didn't pull this name out of a hat. However, I couldn't find any mention of any sort of pedo scandal there through a cursory search of free materials (and I know I'm not going to get my money's worth out of a newspaper search subscription). Granted, if something happened when John was a child, then that's something like forty years ago, so it's not outside the realm of possibility that any article about this supposed incident has simply not been digitized and made readily available online. Still, people don't take kindly to pedos and they have a long memory, so you'd think that it would be mentioned by someone, somewhere, at some point online.

Thus, until John gives some kind of proof, I'm gonna put a big ol' X to Doubt on this one.

It's not clear when Rome was founded. Rome's traditional founding date is 753 BCE (rounds up to 3000 years). The necropolis at Rome dates to about 1000 BCE, and the area of Rome has been inhabited at least since since 1600 BCE, with traces going back to 5000 BCE. Take your pick, but 3000 years isn't unreasonable.

Even so, there is no credible evidence that Troons existed as we understand them today, or even that cross dressing was tolerated.
