You can tell just from his tweets that John has no clue what Pascal's Wager even is but thinks he does and is impressing others by referencing it so casually. So standard John on most topics.

But I do want to say that this is actually a great usage of it, even if wrong, because the flaw in Pascal's Wager is that it doesn't work if you just don't accept that there is a Hell or even just that the Church is correct about how to avoid it. (Pascal was essentially writing to an audience that claimed to accept this.) Similarly, Leor is rejecting the premise that a gay child must be trans because they're gay and all John can do is assert that gay child is going to Hell if they don't transition while denying that this is his argument.

Pascal's Wager is logically tight because of the probabilities assigned in it, but nothing says you have to accept other people's probabilities especially for things about which they can't show or that can't be measured. This obviously eludes John for multiple reasons, such as that he doesn't grasp that infallibility doesn't exist.

edit: I will add another objection to Pascal's Wager, and why the concept might appeal to John as supposedly irrefutable, is that you suspect God might not look favorably on someone who believes purely out of personal gain. It assumes no personal agency in God, that you'll get to rules lawyer to St. Peter about TECHNICALLY following the rules. Which would suggest that you are personally superior to He who created everything.

Nobody’s “melting down” except Wu. The only reason he’s complaining is because he wants everyone to think he’s the hot, passing tranny, not the result of a fortune in plastic surgery and enough filters for half of Instagram. Same reason he keeps posting about how men totally hit on him all the time.

Maybe late but I decided to listen to the "dollcast" that John talks about like it's the second coming of Jesus in tranny podcast form. A couple of episodes have been taken down, but there's an interesting clip up on Youtube where they discuss whether AGP is real. I'm putting it here for archival purposes:

It's honestly scary how many troons will present themselves as "the good ones" until they're talking to each other, at which point they will go mask off about being sex pests.

The way AGPs claim that their paraphilia isn't only about sex but has a romantic/companionship component makes it more disturbing because that's what extreme paraphiliacs do. Many pedophiles/zoophiles use the same excuse and say that they truly love children/animals, which is why they should be allowed to rape them. When a fetish is so deeply ingrained that it affects a person's sense of romance and companionship, it's a very bad sign.

The troons in the clip keep mixing up "autosexuality" (a tiny amount of which could be seen as normal) with "autogynephilia" (a fetish that destroys people's lives). If a 15 year old girl has a romantic/sexual fantasy, in which she is herself, that's normal. If a 50 year old man has a sexual fantasy in which he is a 15 year old girl, he should see a psychiatrist. If a man likes fuck in front of a mirror, that's autosexuality and only slightly weird. If a man puts on women's clothes and jerks off in front of a mirror, that's AGP. The difference is that in the former case, the arousal is directed at the act of oneself having sex with another person, and in the latter it's directed at the idea of being a woman. One of the troons also claims that women having sex for validation is AGP. In reality it's unhealthy and a sign of low self-esteem and grooming (which can make people base their self-worth on how attractive they are), but not AGP.

In a way they're living proof that the classic HSTS/AGP typology is wrong though, since they're four classic early transition "HSTS" trannies who nevertheless have elements of AGP. IMO it's impossible to put trannies into boxes like this in 2024 2025, because early porn exposure, trauma and grooming complicate things.
