No, no, no... it's even worse: Just before Christmas Brianna posted a ton of Nerf related tweets. Each one contained a photo which rather neatly displayed one or more of the guns and she sperged how awesome they are. Since she does exactly the same with her Blue Apron tweets, it is certain that Brianna Wu is shilling for Nerf as well.

Republicans and Democrats already socialize in D.C. They eat together, they have activity groups together, and they attend many of the same social functions. Just because they engage in opposing theatrics in front of cameras for the purpose of securing power doesn't mean they need a spastic narcissist to come and bring them together over retro games.

This reminds me of Wu's notion that he will go to Washington and be an edgy stuff doer. You will vote how your party tells you to vote, or you won't get any committee assignments. There'll be votes you don't like that you make so that someone in the party with a less safe seat can vote the other way to appease their constituents. On the other hand, if your vote isn't important, then they'll leave you to placate your constituents.

That can only be changed by a Constitutional amendment which isn't likely to be granted because every single person who would have to vote for it benefits from the lack of term limits. Also while term limits sound like a good idea, look at somewhere they've actually been passed. California. The result is that you have amateur legislators with no clue what they're doing who then get led around by the nose by lobbyists. Then by the time they have the foggiest notion what they're doing, they're gone.

Essentially, California governs by a series of retarded referenda and pure lobbyist-written law. The result has been a disaster.

Unfortunately, the only challengers in most districts are primary challengers, and they're generally not challenging from the center but from the extreme wings of their parties arguing their own party isn't radical enough. This is freaks like John, basically. They're just not useful.

I don't think this is much of a concern. Even with the majority the Republicans now enjoy at every level, Amendments take time. Besides, they're still at least one cycle from having the supermajority needed to pass Amendments without Democratic support.

Even if an Amendment XXVIII does come to pass, the only vacuum on display will be the one between Wu's ears. Even Massachusetts voters can't be that dumb.
