I think it generally boils down to two things: he has someone (probably Frank) getting him these guest spots, and he only says what the interviewer wants him to say. John doesn't know much, but he knows enough to say exactly what his audience expects him to say. When he was speaking about women in tech during GG, he'd go on and on about how hard women have it and how much harassment he got about it. During his scampaigns, he'd repeat the standard Democrat talking points and play up how much of a #Resistance fighter he was and how he was so harassed. Now that he's moved to position himself as a sensible voice about tranny issues, he blathers about how those horrible freaks are ruining his essential healthcare and how he's just trying to live his life and getting harassed about it.

Nobody actually bothers to look into his past because he fits the bill of whatever it is they need a talking head to say. John doesn't care either because it's just another appearance he can point to as evidence of how important and famous he is, not to mention a quick paycheck for practically zero work on his part. Funny how I don't think very many of these outlets have ever asked him to come back again over the years.

John can only ever be successful in Clown World, where journalists need an easy guest to fill in time.

Interviewing John normally takes no work. John arrives prepared with his own agenda and talking points, and will fill as much space as is provided for him.

Interviewing John well takes a lot of work. John will lie lie lie, and unless you have Heterodorx levels of research done beforehand and the facts at hand, disproving his bullshit is a nightmare. John is adept at deception because it's all he's ever done; untangling his web of lies takes a skilled interviewer willing to put in the work.

Put him on a midwit show like Triggernometry, and John is in his element. He feeds their needs just as much as they feed his. Mutual masturbation, in other words.

John only gets featured because he's a reliable clown in a clown world.

Hell, it's a nightmare even for us who aren't doing this live. John has been lying for so long about literally everything that it's a pain in the ass to try and suss out the truth. It doesn't help that people who know of his bullshit don't tend to come forward and set the record straight, I presume because they'd rather not be reminded of any time spent with him. Maybe they also feared his retribution through his Twitter backchannels back in the day, but that wouldn't stop them now. The only person of note who helped debunk anything recently was Warren, and he seemed content to wash his hands of the matter. Shame, I would have enjoyed hearing more stories from him about what a nightmare John is to work for.

And of course, the other big issue is the fact that because of his age, pretty much all of his pre-troon online history is simply not there, what little there would have been in the first place. The only way to get any info on those years would be to track down someone who knew him, and aside from his family (who would probably prefer to forget he ever existed), we have basically zero leads. Even that one Ole Miss alumni forum has gone down, so good luck finding any users from there. For all intents and purposes, John Walker Flynt is practically a ghost, and Brianna is the only one that's ever existed.

If a bunch of kiwis dedicated to studying this deranged retard for over a decade can't say for certainty the truth about John's life, what hope does any average interviewer have, especially if they're on the spot? Easier to just accept his lies and let him recite the spiel he's supposed to.
