I think there's some confusion there. John did vaguepost back in the day about his last name being the same as a famous pornographer, which was used as further evidence to confirm that "Brianna" and John were the same person. However, to my knowledge, there is no relation between John and Larry Flynt. While Larry could have been close to the appropriate age to be John's uncle (he would be in his early 80s if he were still alive while Joel Flynt is in his 70s), he's definitely too young to be John's grandfather.

If there were anything to this, something would have been dug up years ago at the height of GG when a lot more people were investigating John's past.

Good to know, thanks. Flynt is a fairly common name and I'd heard it bandied about without any real proof for several years. It's why I wanted to ask about the possibility and not come in with a smoking gun that's probably inaccurate.
