Maybe I just need to marry one of our Chinese-Canadians, but even if I did I'd probably just end up having to support a Chinese food restaurant, nail salon, or prostitute.

Eh, considering the amount of weight he lost and being allergic to actual hard work, I imagine he didn't lose and keep it off by eating healthy and exercise. I can buy he had / has disordered eating.

The reason druggies get skeletal is because they start prioritising drugs over food. Druggies who don't have to do that (see Luna Slater) stay fat cause they crave sugar and fatty foods. John has always been fully funded so he's never faced the struggle of having to prioritise.

He's a man. Men lose weight much more easily than women.

He's also an incredibly vain man, despite what his ugly mug would indicate.

I have no doubt he could lose weight so he would look 'sexy' for his gay Congressional candiate photos on his motorcycle.

Being able to quickly lose weight for a specific goal is (as much as I hate to admit it for Wu) a sign of self-control. He attained a healthy weight, and stopped losing when he got to his goal.
I fucking hate this retarded progressive munchie bullshit where accomplishing anything through focus is turned into a mental disorder.
