Listening to the Bari Weiss thing, I think people who aren't Wu lore scholars probably won't catch that whenever Wu uses a collective noun in a positive context, she really just talking about herself. If Wu ever praises a group, it's always just backhanded praise for herself, if Wu ever excoriates any group it's because of their real or perceived sins against Wu. I don't think I've ever seen anyone as egocentric, or vindictive, as Wu.
There was a part when they were talking about how to communicate to Americans better about how great Israel is and how genocide is a service to this world or whatever, and Wu suggested with an apparent straight face that old line Jewish organisations like the ADL and AIPAC weren't keeping up with the yoof and their tik toks and jello pudding pops. What Israel totally should do is give 100-150 million to someone with, lets say, some experience recruiting hip young streamers into politics. It was so fucking obvious what Wu was driving at that it made me physically cringe. It's remarkable how consistent Wu has been with this fantasy business model. If only someone gave Wu X million dollars, she'd be biggest success story since John. D. Rockerfeller. Game studio, poltics, PAC, and now hasbara outfit...
There was also more moving dates around in Wu's now incredibly convoluted history. In this telling, Wu was disowned in 2004 rather than in 2006. An (unnamed) Jewish professor who was very kind to Wu when she was trannified, and gave her a pair of glasses when she couldn't afford them. Given that GSA minutes were still refering to "John Flynt" in late 2006, just weeks before Wu would finally drop out, and that Wu didn't have the bust up with her parents until school was out for the year I'm 100% confident this is bullshit. I'll also point out that vision and glasses would have been very much on Wu's mind in the run up to laser surgery, suggesting a fairly obvious origin for the instant mythologising.
