He just somehow realized actually being an open troon was more useful for his reputation management. It's amazingly dumb he didn't realize this earlier, but as we know, he's an amazingly dumb dude.

He thinks he can reclaim his reputation as a real whammen by admitting to being a troon now, when the time for that was years ago. He thought being a closeted troon was somehow better, as if being a towering ogre taller than Janet Reno who gurned and lurched insanely at other people on the rare media interviews he had would convince anyone.

FtMs complain about this a lot as well: the clocking ability of the general public has steadily increased in proportion to all the tranny propaganda and "days of visibility" and now even very butch FtMs don't pass like they used to. It's probably part of why Brianna is so angry at other trannies.

John was instantly clockable the second photos of him were uploaded to the internet. The earliest i remember are his hideous Resident Evil cosplay ones, at some party event, with Frank in tow. He's ghoulish and 100% troon looking there as much as he is now, no chance at passing whatsoever. This is not some thai ladyboy situation where you could think it's a woman if you squint real hard, John has the textbook "troon" look. You have to be legit autist levels of faceblind if you don't clock John instantly. His voice is a even more dead giveaway than his looks.
 
Brianna is merely admitting it now because "she" can't charge people and have them charged for hate if she doesn't admit she is a transgender and is being "subjected to" hate. Never doubt his reason is one for personal gain.

John babbles away about "medical pathway" being a so called reasonable middle ground, but it really isn't because that is an undefined vague and ambigous term and a parenson could be literally anywhere on a massive spectrum and still be on "a medical pathway"
