It's crazy how little Wu adds to the Podcast. When she does talk, everything she says derails the conversation momentarily and then gets ignored.
 
I know nothing about Doctor Strange but am not at all surprised that Brianna Wu believes someone deserves "comeuppance" for the crime of being "privileged."

Fun fact: A character's backstory was changed from being Tibetan because of worry over how that would fly in China. But hey it has Tilda Swinton so its a 10/10 masterpiece of diversity. Brianna Wu, ally to minorities.

The backstory for Doctor Strange is that he was a brilliant neurosurgeon who was a bit of a dick. He was in a car accident that damaged the nerves in his hands to the extent that he could no longer operate. After expending his fortune looking for a cure, he went to Tibet in a last ditch effort to find the Ancient One, who he thought was a healer. While he initially had no interest in learning magic, upon learning that the Ancient One's apprentice planned to murder him he decided to learn the mystic arts so that he could protect him (Strange was enchanted so that he could not warn the Ancient One about the plot).
