I would seriously sacrifice my birthday and Christmas this year for Twitter to go down permanently. The REEEEEEing from Wu and Dobson could be heard from space.

Its not going to die, someone else is going to buy it after purging all the idiots from there , twitter is dying not because their userbase is dying because a CEO wasted shitload of money buying stupid startups and creating worthless services that no one asked or cared (twitter music anyone?)

And either the next buyer figures out how to operate it stably enough to keep the lights on, or fucks it up even worse. There's always going to be some service like this for stupid people to tweet at each other like the birdbrains they are. Such an apt name, really.
 
Twitter as is currently is probably toast. The shitheads in charge can't seem to figure out how to make any money and drop millions on stupid projects and wastes of time.

I'd venture to think that twitter will be bought out and integrated into something else but I'd cant imagine what.
