You're right, John. The number of women who are both qualified and willing and are applying for those jobs surely can't be a factor.

What it really means on planet Earth and not on BriBri's homeworld:

- some applied, but they had no skills necessary to the job
- a few applied, but they only had useless degrees in "gender studies" and "queer theory" instead of useful ones like "programming" and "engineering"
- one or two had the skills and degrees, but demanded the same salary as employees that had more advanced degrees and been on the payroll for several years.
- one applied and was qualified, but wanted 9 months of paid maternity leave followed by a year of paid "mommy/baby bonding time", starting immediately.
- there was one who came in that was a perfect fit, until she demanded to be called "zir/zhir/zhirself" and refused to work with anyone who was a cis male. We called security and had her escorted out by a cis male guard, which caused "zir" to scream "TRIGGERED!" before collapsing into a heap that kept mumbling the web address of their Patreon page.
- no women actually applied.

Or it actually does mean none applied, you vapid twit. It happens a lot. Good example - my office is working on hiring a graphic designer and an IT director right now. Graphic designer got tons of applicants from all over, probably slightly more women than men and we're in fact hiring a woman for the role because (and this is a foreign concept to Brianna) she had the best people skills along with a tremendous portfolio of work to show. The IT director role, however, has a much smaller candidate pool because of the skills needed and absolutely no women applied. Why is anyone's guess but it isn't because someone in HR is thinking "nope this role requires a penis". If that were the case, I would encourage you to apply, Brianna. Don't even have to send in your resume - I still have it here somewhere.

Also, it's rich to see someone talking about gender bias in a hiring process when they themselves have admitted as much in their own hirings. How many qualified male applicants did you turn down for possibly less qualified females at GSK, Brianna? How come you never talk about the men (including your own husband) who worked on your failure of a game? From how it looks, you basically hired a lot of under qualified women to serve as props and to do all the work while you took the credit.

As someone who has worked in the hiring process before, nothing grinds my gears more than people making unsupported claims like Wu. Finding good hires is hard enough these days without having to worry about some histrionic idiots screeching about imagined problems.
 
Why would you expect Wu to know anything about hiring practices? She's never had a proper job, never worked in an office with other people and all she knows about hiring is picking from a tiny group of people who answered her craigslist ads.

Everything she knows about the world of work is filtered through the bizarre lens of tumblr feminism.
