Not only is it not for a car she drives but it's like only a few hundred dollars and apparently john still has the authority to kebosh it.

She liquidated his savings and has a selfie motorcycle but lambo doors are a goofy extravagance.
 
I like that she apparently genuinely thinks areas/states don't have pro sports teams because they're "too poor."

Oh also, she grew up poor in Mississippi, did anyone know that?
 
Wu has finally won a game of Civ 6... on the lowest possible difficulty setting.

Considering games of civ can take upward of 8 hours to finish, playing on the lowest difficulty is wasting your time in the extreme. The AI is barely relevant and are likely to end the game several eras behind you, if they don't get wasted by barbarians at the start of the game. Playing on normal is barely a challenge, it's only when you get up to the higher difficulties where the AI cheats like crazy that it actually becomes hard.

Between this and Wu's marathon XCOM 2 game, where I'm guessing she save scummed every turn about 5 times, I get the impression that Wu has real difficulty grasping strategy game rules. It's kind of weird that she spends so much time playing them so badly.

(Edit: I looked back at her Civ 5 achievements too. She's played almost 150 hours of the game, but never finished a game on normal difficulty. If you're investing that much time, wouldn't you want to learn to play the game competently?)

Because strategy games promote toxic masculinity in that they're all about dominating or crushing the weaker players or at best using them as expendable pawns. We should all play games like Revolution 60 which are about collaboration and the conversation being led by consensus and in which marginalised peoples' safety are put first.
