Child, Flynt/Wu has tens of thousands of fanatically dedicated Twitter followers eager to do his bidding. He heads the largest news-gathering organization on the planet.

Flynt/Wu's "journalism" is basically posted as letters to the editor of The Boston Globe or as what amount to unedited, error-filled, semi-literate blog entries on sites like Bustle.com.
 
Not that it should be surprising considering her track record, but for once, mentions of grandma grapes can be spun to be directly related to the piece. No longer will she have to really stretch to make the tangent fit in a super awkward manner. No doubt that if it is mentioned, she'll throw in a paragraph or two about how much of a victim she is because of it. Because if she is to mention it, it has to be followed by an interlude of "me me me".

So "writing about a murder that I didn't cover" turns into "reporting on a murder," something that involves talking to the police, interviewing the victim's family and friends, questioning suspects and witnesses, attending hearings and trials -- none of which he has done. Not once. Ever.

Smart move, now John can feel morally vindicated as he sits on his couch cramming ice cream into his fat face. Also I'm sure this will protect Ben and Jerry's stores from being burned to the ground during the next BLM "peaceful protest".
