Just seen this part from a R60 Playthrough and it's a total MGS3 ripoff.
https://youtube.com/watch?v=id=IimTXwaqk3U;m=29;s=26(I find Holiday's scream hilarious tbh fams)
We already had the N313 (the name of Metal Gear 1's operation) space station, Val commentating that Holiday didn't improve her driving after Tselinoyarsk (the location of MGS3's story).
Now here's the total ripoff of The Boss's defection cutscene. Holiday/Snake gets a leg/arm broken by a former friend/mentor, then thrown off a roof. There's this "it's the mission" line, there's also the "You can't come with us" line which frankly doesn't work here since none told Holiday to join in the first place, as opposed to Volgin thinking Snake might join the Cobras.
And after that, Snake/Holiday have to heal themselves and recover. Except it's badly done in R60 since you just get patched up almost instantly and get up for a round 2 like 10 mins laters instead of taking the time to recover from serious injuries and have another mission briefing. There's just no time to set up a mood or something.
Also there's no river to explain Holiday surviving her fall.
tl;dr : R60 does exactly what MGS3 did 12 years before, but without anything that made it good, and a lot more edgy shit instead. Wu can't write to save her life.
