Even setting aside the fact that the Hugos have been a nepotistic shitshow for years now, if not decades, remember that Frank's awards were for fanart, not writing (and his last win was fifteen fucking years ago). In an already stupid awards show, Frank can only manage success in a short bus category, one that's completely irrelevant to John's implication that he knows good writing because he's married to an award winner.

Damn John, I had no idea Big Hotel was counter-lobbying against environmental issues in the hopes that climate change will cause airport layovers, thereby lining the pockets of greedy hotel magnates. This is huge. Can we trace it back to Trump? He owns hotels. Maybe gamergate was involved somehow.

I WOULD say talk to a commercial pilot (one you've chatted with before) about the costs of climate change* to that industry -- but having a mere natural woman talk about her area of expertise would be mansplaining to superfemWu
