Also it is not the "press" that agreed that illegally obtained email is just fine to publish. The courts agree. It's just the person who illegally obtained it and anyone who directly solicited that who have problems.
(If Gawker ever gets off it will be because of some related theory to this, i.e. they didn't actively participate in obtaining the sex tape and had some journalistic purpose in doing it. Their behavior in obtaining it was questionable, though, to say the least. For instance, someone currently using the sex tape in a legitimate story about the Gawker suit to demonstrate what was at issue in the case would be on a solid legal footing.)

Not only that, but she also forced her all female dev team to make her game for her while she fucked around online all day, told them all to piss off the second the game was done, and completely removed almost all references to them and instead tried to present it as all her work. She was carried through the whole development process by actually competent women in tech, and then proceeded to completely erase their names from their own work for the sake of stroking her ego. If you ask me, R60 bombing on steam after she more or less ruined it is just karmatic justice.
