And seriously, I can't get over this: A catastrophic failure and financial bleed like this game has been would put most small game devs into Chapter 7 bankruptcy. John's incredibly lucky that he has Frank and KS backers funding most of this mess to begin with.

Starting to get the feeling pushing Rev60 live was Frank's doing, the week it was released she wasn't tweeting much about it which is out of character, I'd normally expect her to be whinging and transplaining the steam/app store release process. Frank's probably tweeted more about it than her.

Wondering if maybe Frank was annoyed that his stay at home tranny was going to miss another deadline and Wu just got in a huff and told him to release it.

Seen as none of that crap she was whinging about creating ended up in the actual release

Because of the way its been set up, it will never show who's playing the special edition. It's the same launcher regardless of the edition that you bought.

On the other hand, that means that those pathetic stats we saw for R60 are actually combined stats for the regular and special edition together.

Achievements don't exist and were likely never intended to, but the trading cards are indicated on the store page of the special edition which nobody can get Steam to recognize as running, so they might as well not exist too. Active, but impossible to access.

I know the Steam stats are far more interesting and funny but I tried my best (with limited knowledge) to have a look at App Store stats. The best I could find without paying are Rev 60's store rankings. These are based on downloads and as a dev you'll be wanting a steady and/or increasingly upwards line. I've no idea how reliable they are but they seem as we'd expect.

As an example, here's a game I believe was released recently and at a similar price point. Fairly decent, steady downloads -



And now here's Rev 60's ipad ranking -



Finally on iphone -



It appears to be a landslide in to oblivion. There's still no ratings or reviews but I did notice that 'Mass Effect' is included in the keywords section (along with 'Brianna' and 'resolution' but nothing particularly interesting). Maybe some poor Mass Effect fan will be tricked in to buying it that way.

I honestly don't know what that dumb bitch was thinking. I don't know which is worse: Marketing this to a demographic that does not give two shits about playing video games, or putting such a piss-poor effort forward and thinking that it was remotely acceptable.

This game has horrendous Windows 98-ish 3D graphics and models, integrates some of the worst game mechanics you could put into the title (seriously, you integrated Mavis Teaches Typing in there? The hell?) is a buggy, barely functional mess, and only exists because "GURL POWER HURR HURR HURR"


Yeah, too bad the majority of gamers are so jaded by the feminists' bullshit, that they will audibly cringe at just about anything that openly pushes itself in that direction and avoid it like the fucking plague. That's why nobody is playing it, Wu. And that is why you, like so many feminazis out there, do what you do best when you're left with egg on your face: Ignore it entirely, pretend it never happened and move on to some other trivial bullshit that triggers you.
