Meanwhile, 31 years later in 2016, R60 is released and due to the marvels of modern technology combined with atrocious code that could give supercomputers a haemorrhage, we get 100 million pixels displayed per second. No 'hacks' this time John, unless you count the one involving cutting your junk off.

Unfortunately, the game looks like someone ate a bag of skittles dipped in nuclear waste and then blew chunks onto a monitor.

Sometimes less is more John (although I'm now not counting the time you cut your junk off).

So is the DLC showing up as no players because not a single person has bought it, or because the way it's been setup means that the active players will always be on the standard edition? If the latter, I'm curious if that's due to Steam fucking up or Brianna. Somehow I won't be surprised by either.

Bri fucked up. There are other games that report the dlc being played properly, but hers didn't.

Because of the way its been set up, it will never show who's playing the special edition. It's the same launcher regardless of the edition that you bought. Though I can say in all confidence that it's probably another fuckup of Wu, given how it was released.
