I've mentioned it earlier in the thread, but allow me to explain.

Besides making money on gathering and selling everyone's data, Discord also offers a ridiculously expensive subscription that gives users a lot of silly bonuses like animated profile pictures, custom emotes everywhere, longer messages, ability to join more servers, or even Discord themes because of course they've paywalled CSS modifications to get more cash out of terminally online idiots.

Now, one of the benefits of buying into the big Nitro package is that you get two server boosts. And what server boosting does is that it gives the server additional features like more custom emotes, higher quality audio and video streams, fancy banners, custom URL's for your server and so on. And when you do, you will have that little pink diamond by your name in the server you've boosted.

So, in summary, Tipster is so much of a spineless worm that not only does he willingly pay a platform that sells his data so that he can get extra gimmicks, he also boosted his kween's server so that Lucas gets some extra gimmicks for his kitten grooming clique. That's how much of a troon chaser Tipster is.

I think GamerGate seems so weirdly important because a lot of those people never left. The same people during GamerGate are the same people who are "influencers" to this day. The retardzone that we occupy has sucked in some new people, but very few of the people around during GG have ever truly left.

My schizo take about why they always bring gamergate is different. When you look at it, all of those people like Brianna and Zoe Quinn got famous because of it but unlike most people they wasn't able to branch out their fame to the other places, like how Zoe game and Podcast was a massive failure, so the only way for them to stay relevant is to pretend that gamergate still exists (I'm pretending that it happened for this context).
