This bears repeating. It seems that Brianna Wu has reemerged to public consciousness not just because of these new leaks, but also in the past months as he now appears to be rehabilitating his image by going through a "redemptive tour" of sorts among those outside of the progressive bubble. I just recalled, however, that Brianna Wu was the instigator of what I believe may be the worst injustice of the Gamergate era: the character assassination and cancelling of Atari co-founder Nolan Bushnell when he was on the verge of being given the highest honor by the Game Developers Conference in 2018. It was a very obvious bid for Wu to boost his public profile while campaigning for the US House at the time.

No, he was always transphobic or at least found it repulsive on a personal level, one of his sons became a tranny way before that and he cut contact with him. They are not speaking terms at all and he said before his son was brainwashed. It is also worth noting that he made so using the word Cis makes so your tweet has less visibility/reach because he considers it a slur

It never occurred to me that he wasn't trans. I didn't know until just now that he was so aggressively in the closet about it. Does this guy think we don't have Internet access? Does he imagine we don't have eyeballs that function correctly or something? I'm more perplexed by this concept than anything else in the whole story. How fucking delusional do you have to be to look into a mirror, see that fucking enormous Adam's apple, and think to yourself "nailed it. They'll never know"? I knew he was schizo but sheesh.

That's the main reason why there are so few pictures of John online, as opposed to almost every other self-absorbed troon that's constantly posting pics of themselves. Despite his public insistence otherwise, deep down, John knows he's a ghoul that doesn't pass, so he has intentionally avoided as much public exposure as possible. The fewer images there are of him out there, the fewer chances there are of people seeing the obvious truth.

It's also why he continues to use a decade-old vanity shoot photo of himself for his profile pic. Years and years later, it's still the closest he's come to passing, especially when it's tiny and you can barely make out any of the details. If he used a more up-to-date pic...yeah, somehow I don't think a melting face on a gangling frame screams "true and honest woman."
