The short version: John has been continuing to make a "career" out of being a professional victim. He tried to parlay that into a bid for Congress after Drumpf got elected, even forcing Frank to move to a new address so he'd be in the district of fucking white male Stephen Lynch instead of that of his former representative (and buddy from GG days) Katherine Clark. He was blown the fuck out in the 2018 primaries by not getting even a quarter of the votes, then in 2020 he withdrew before voting began. He then got put "in charge" of RebellionPAC, set up by Cenk Uygur of TYT to launder John's campaign funds produce video ads to support Democrats. He has proceeded to do basically nothing along those lines, with the PAC being dead in the water with no videos produced in over 9 months.

All John really does is tweet incessantly, feigning an air of expertise about shit he knows absolutely nothing about and rehashing GamerGate for the umpteenth time. When he's not doing that, he's posting about all the expensive crap that he buys with Frank's money, whether it's his Porsche collection (did you know he owns four Porsches? don't worry, he'll tell you), his pinball machine collection (over half a dozen and counting), his video games, his tabletop games, his 3D printers, his exercise equipment, or any one of a hundred other things. There's the occasional gem that comes up sometimes, like when he claimed Elon was going to throw rocks from the Moon to kill us all, but it's mostly just the same old noise.

The one thing John still refuses to admit to is that he's a troon.

due to the fact that he's going on about it being lag-free, he's almost certainly running it on the gba player, not an emulator: that still requires a gba cart. using that will let you boot it without needing the gba player software disc though, in addition to some extra features https://www.retrorgb.com/gameboyinterface.html
again, this doesn't load roms, it still requires the gba player and a cartridge.

now whether he's using a gba flash cart is another story...

The OP responded to that point about it being beyond personal and more about societal standards around grifting

"Would you feel the same if a ciswoman saying "I don't need you to be outraged on my behalf" to a transwoman on an abortion issue?

doesn't look like Bri Bri is going to "get down in the mud" like she said on DickPic LaPorte when somebody knows her angles

By hack he means hack out of the amazon package with his benchmade knife he doesn't know how to handle responsibly.

Even better would be to ask why Wu is calling for a boycott on behalf of trannies, a group he's never claimed to belong to. Even more than a boycott, how can he judge the character of people who play the game when they are just not being outraged on someone else's behalf?
