edit: For the record, I'm aware the allegation is that they informed about and requested specific documents. John, however, seems to suggest something further in his demand for what a decent person would do. I would send the documents back, not invite the FBI to come over and search.

“Prey is the only good Predator movie” is some take. The time period and setting are a great concept but the movie is betrayed by the Writers not understanding what the Predator was as a movie monster, poorly constructed character developments and really awful CGI. It’s still miles better than the previous Predator offering but that’s an incredibly low bar.

The original is great because it takes all the 80s action movie bravado, turns it upside down and turns those larger than life figures into helpless prey.

No, the creators of it should have anticipated a future where John was steeped in a culture where everything had been informed for decades by Predator and then John would view it for the first time (hoping to dislike it) 35 years later only to find it trite for not subverting his expectations that were formed by the film embedding itself in the culture so thoroughly in the first place. But it's just like men for failing like this, if only a woman had been able to write, direct and star in Predator this could have been avoided.

Funny considering the original design and the would-be JCVD involvement. I’m also pretty sure the studio inserted the intro sequence of the spaceship into the movie as to not confuse the audience which ruins would could have been a great twist. Still, Predator holds up remarkably well and I would say that about many of its’ action movie contemporaries.
