Pathological liars like John are literally addicted to lying and the buzz from the "duper's delight," but also John is really stupid, so his lies make no sense to anyone who knows anything about the subject in question, so he has to resort to screeching and hollering about some -ism or -splaining or something else to try to weasel out of his lies and make it so annoying to deal with his bullshit that people just roll their eyes and go whatever.

Lowcows are lolcows because they can't learn and change their behaviors, but there must exist some that could be relatively normal if they stopped engaging with social media/grew up. But John has nothing. Without social media to try to flex on people as a mechanic/programmer/racer/game dev/ he has nothing. He doesn't ride his bike, he wrecks his cars when he does drive, his arcade room is not set up for easy playing, he has no irl friends to play table top stuff with apart from Frank, he has no education or experience despite 10 years at school. He is literally a living, breathing, lying money pit that Frank puts up with to satisfy his fetish for ugly man/body modification.

Well, Wonder Woman made over $800 million at the box office, but I'm sure all the misogynists stayed home and the take was wholly driven by stunning and brave women comic book fans, all three of them.

Birds of Prey didn't make much money because it opened just before the coof shut down all the theaters. It also didn't look all that great, which didn't help matters. But John's not one to let facts get in the way of a narrative!
