That was the Boston Globe, IIRC. Still remains one of my favorite press interactions that John's ever had, and it makes me wonder if John was such a bad subject that someone had it out for him and refused to completely lie to cover for his true and honest woman schtick. Even if actual females could be said to "identify" as women by default, everyone knows that anyone who claims that is actually a man.

This is the clip John's all pissed about for context. I don't agree with Maher on a lot of things but he got this right on. I could just imagine John seething away while watching it since it basically shits all over everything he believes and 'fights' for. Replace the name Felicia with Brianna and its the exact same story. I don't know how anyone can really disagree with what Bill says here but i guess Bill being a lifetime hardcore liberal democrat isn't good enough anymore which is pretty much the point being made. I don't agree with Bill Maher on most points, but i generally respect him.
He at least makes an effort to applying his ideals universally and not just to his team or pet minorities, calls out dumbassery on his own side of the fence, and will actually talk to people from the other side. The fact John hates him just improves his standing.
