Holy hell, I was just assuming Frank was doing the painting -- being in the sci-fi scene for so long and being relatively competent with his hands, I didn't think it impossible that he'd be a decent figure painter.

That makes sense. He was going to paint the Famous Star Wars Woman Of Color and we will never ever see how that turned out, instead he uses someone elses work to showcase his skill. It is very characteristic of Wu.

This is gibberish. I seriously don't even know what this thread means. It's a scam because it's hackable or something? It's an inherent fault of the concept because there's fraudsters who lie (probably even people who claim to be software engineers)? Yeah, let's listen to the guy who doesn't understand the regular financial markets at all and makes it massively clear every time he opens his mouth about well, recently Elon Musk, but really everything. This. I never believed for a second that twitching spastic John Flynt could do anything to a miniature other than grab a rattle can (forget about airbrushing) and ineptly spray paint it a single color. We've all seen a ton of videos and stills demonstrating his utter lack of fine motor skills and his total lack of artistic ability. It's not like Photoshop has an Autopaint Miniatures function that lets you steal other people's work and claim it as your own.

I did think that Frank might have done the painting, but his time is occupied by a full-time job and the endless demands of his drag queen horrorshow husband.

Re: Minis, anyone with decent paints (and grasp how they work), good brushes, and a lack of parkinsons with 1 hour to spare on youtube to learn about washes and dry brushing can paint properly primed Star Wars minis decently. This is most minis, but the star wars ones I've seen don't have a lot of tricky bits and have decent 'flow domains' and good deep details.

This makes the fact John pays NEETs on etsy to paint them for him all the more hilarious

He means that "Fiat" is a scam because you can counterfeit 100 bills. Sarcastically I believe.

Also, its not mathematically impossible, just improbable with current computing tech. Even low-bit quatum computers will rip through Bitcoin's algorithm like a concrete post through a Porsche's rear bumper.

Crypto/the blockchain has nothing wrong with it at the surface. But the complete lack of oversight means you get to dust off your 100-year old finance scams and run them play-by-play with retards who never see the easily forseen consequences coming.

All that's changed is John used to think crypto was cool because it's "tech" but now it's verboten in his Twitter circles so he's loudly announcing that he is not a deviationist. He never bothered to learn anything about it in either case. This is, of course, the only topic John has ever treated this way. He is still trustworthy on everything else including this since he realized he was on the wrong side of history and corrected his error.
