He still has no understanding of stock at all. None. The guy who thinks the public share price will be affected after a purchase offer was accepted also thinks a private company cannot have stock. Private twitter will not be able to hire because it cannot offer equity to employees. This is the guy who claims to have run a tech company.
Software engineer John Flynt also calls for someone to spend $300 million to build a twitter for him and "other journalists" despite the fact that he is a software engineer and a service like twitter is trivial to build (showing strength of first mover and network effects.) How would they get employees if the new twitter has no publicly traded shares?
He also brags about the massive appreciation in value for his cars and pinball machines while saying that young people do not invest because they are not informed like John, who mentions all the business courses he has taken where he learned about "PDE ratios". Ignore strong possibility of bubble in classic vehicle market. John is savvy investor.
John made this same point on the podcast, but says it came from his talking with "defendants" (he meant attorneys, but is idiot).
He must have come across it recently and wants to use it to sound smart.

how old is frank again? I remember him being significantly older than john. I think there's gonna be a big upheaval when he does retire, and has a lot more free time to persue his own expensive hobbies and less income to waste on john's nonsense. I'd give good odds on him kicking john to the curb

I too fall into "underweight" quite often. Because BMI labels are ordinal variables moving between labels will happen normally to everyone who is currently an edge case since weight fluctuates. I doubt anyone has ever tried to look up my height since I'm not eight inches over the average height for my claimed sex.
