I can't believe that John is bragging about owning a lens (doubtless paid for by his House scampaign and stolen by John and Frank) that costs only $1,100. And a 135mm, fixed focal length lens -- even if it's a Canon L series -- is not a good general purpose lens at all.

I thought John doesn't have time for gamedev anymore because of his very important job electing Democrats everywhere (how'd Nina Turner's race turn out again? ...oh).
That said, I'd figure that an actual developer would take into account various aspects of game design when it came to building levels for their game. Y'know, making sure that it flows properly, that it isn't too confusing for the player, that it works with the game's mechanics, that it's fun, that sorta thing. Lighting is important, sure, but it's never the sole focus of a designer.
John probably only cares about lights because it's easy to drag and drop a light into an Unreal Engine scene and feel like you accomplished something. Given the glaring bright neon monstrosity that is Revolution 60, it's clear he can't even do that well.

Like I said the last time this came up, how is this anything but bait? His favorite FF character is Rinoa who is designed by the same person as and is almost identical to Tifa physically.
Like, if he didn't like Tifa's character for some reason that would be one thing (even though Rinoa is again cut from the same mold only younger and less competent), but it's like looking at twins and saying one is beautiful and one is hideous.

All of these are improvements on the actual thing though.
Would you pay "so much money" to see a journalist interview the 79% of women who don't support abortion with no restrictions? Why the focus on men when men are slightly more favorable to abortion and a greater percentage of women oppose abortion in all circumstances? Surely the EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR of a PAC who consumes political data constantly 24/7 would know these things right?

It's a stupid fucking strawman anyway. I'm pretty sure even the most hardcore pro-lifers understand the need for abortions when the life of the mother is threatened, and in that case they're fine with it. But assholes like John will use that to say "a-ha! so you do support abortions!" and act like they're master debaters when nobody was objecting to it in the first place. Brilliant as ever, John.
