I would point out that that is a Václav Havel quote but Havel didn't own any pinball machines and also was a FUCKING STRAIGHT WHITE CIS MALE anyway so it doesn't matter because nothing matters and John is fucking re,tarded. Another thrilling 29 hour work day at Rebellion PAC.

"Leave on the field"?

"Leave it all on the field" means give best effort.
"Leave [sitting] on the bench" means not using someone.

"Leave on the field" in regard to "those people" just sounds racist as, sorry for the harsh language, holy heck.

That's on par with Jake Alley's "breadlines? that sounds wonderful, everyone gets free bread everyday."

And you should also give John Flynt your money right now unless you're a motherfucking RACIST.

Uh, you're not a good example at all. Your state, and the district you ran in, is massively saturated with Democratic infrastructure. Nobody giving resources to you was helping the Democratic Party and especially weren't helping the Democratic Party win general election races in swing states. But whatever the case, I encourage Democratic donors to listen to you so that more obviously doomed quixotic bids by social media "stars" can waste tens of millions of dollars on building their "skills" in "fundraising, compliance, NGP, GOTA and other bread and butter election skills" so they can run future politics based scams on the basis of their being a failed candidate.

I'd just go with "Nobody giving resources to you was helping".

SUPER EXCITED!!!! I'm sure this documentary will tease out the nuanced philosophical and social challenges surrounding free speech and big tech and John will walk away with a deeper understanding of the multifaceted texture of all manner of controversial topics.

Wait, I know this one! Brianna Wu is going to compare YouTube ranters to GamerGate and 4chan and Donald Trump.

I was also struck by John's typical failed attempt at using an idiom common among those incomprehensible human beings.

"Leave on the field" is something you might see in a military history describing those who were killed in battle. In the Dark Triad mind of Mississippi John, of course, he doubtless imagined a bunch of confused and shiftless darkies standing idly in a cotton patch on the ol' Democratic Plantation after being "left on the field" by their massas -- the smart Yankee white folks -- which does sound just a tad racist.

Can we look forward to another inspiring day at lashing out at random people on the Internet over celebrity news? I'm giddy with excitement.

LOLOL. Lolcows like John just love to act like anyone who doesn't agree with their shit hot takes are sockpuppets or bots, as if it's impossible for people to post their true and actual thoughts online without hiding behind a fake account.

Fucking lol - Paxlavoid and Monopluvir. Good job moron.
I believe he means Paxlovid and Molnupiravir. But I'm not married to a bacterial geneticist with a phd who is also a lawyer thereby also granting me expertise in these subjects, so what do I know.

Hot take: products that don't have anything new to offer tend to fail in the market, solid analysis.

As I recall, CNN spent something like $300 million on CNN+, and only managed a pathetic 150k subscribers. And of those subscribers, they got less than 10k viewers per day, which is worse than a local news channel. Considering it was a streaming service that didn't even let you watch a live CNN feed (which would at least add something of value, if CNN were worth watching anyway) and only let you view pre-produced shows about the news, it's a no-brainer why practically nobody signed up for it or used it. The new Warner boss didn't like it from the start either, so it was pretty much inevitable it'd get axed.

John, who has had his entire life paid for by somewhat wealthy benefactors, cannot fathom the idea of a return on investment and believes corporations should just keep throwing money into pits until it works. Color me shocked.

So he wants a service that shows him things he doesn't like and thinks this could be a massive "space" to succeed in? He knows that TV already exists right? That there's probably hundreds of channels he could watch that aren't things he wants?

What's stopping him from doing this on YouTube already other than the fact that he's apparently too stupid to watch anything except that which it recommends to him?

Listen up Biden administration: you have this helpful medicine that's hard to get hold of, so you should make more of it. Thank god Economist John Walker Flynt is firing on all cylinders today.

How would expanding access to people who don't have COVID decrease the constraint on supplies of drugs to fight COVID? Wouldn't the same thing that happened with tests happen where a bunch of Blue Checks bought up entire store supplies and hoarded them while doing literally everything they could to avoid catching COVID? Remember when you whined because the government limited the free tests you could get because they bought up the entire supply off the market and there weren't more to give away?
