It shouldn't surprise anyone here, but going off of RLM's video on the first episode (because I refuse to engage with nu-Trek except indirectly), John is entirely wrong. It's only exciting if you think CGI explosions are exciting, the acting is either serviceable or cringeworthy, Rich Evans likely called the mystery (the Borg Queen is actually Picard's mom) before the first episode ended, and the sheer amount of memberberries is embarrassing (Guinan is working at a bar on 10 Forward St.?! jesus effing christ).
Leave it to John to not only be a fan of everything wrong about modern Trek, but to be completely retarded in his assessment of it.
