I usually chalk up anything John does to sheer stupidity, but I think in this case, he actually didn't want to take even the slightest chance of winning an election and, god forbid, being expected actually to do a job.

There are people who live in apartments and who never work on their cars who own a larger selection of tools than John does. That display is pathetic.
 
Where did he spend 5.5 hours driving to and back? Why does he talk about how far he's driven to all the time? He has nowhere to go, everything is at his house or nearby. He doesn't go anywhere worth tweeting about like people who take trips to see things or whatever since he never posts pictures of anything outside his house or the immediate area. Did he really drive five hours away to see Scream again? Why do I have so many questions that I'll never get the answer to? What does God need with a starship?

Wu bought yet another pinball table a little while ago. Her last road trip was to pick up a pinball machine, so maybe this one was too? She mentioned Miami a while back, so I guess that's where she went, could well have been the annual disney trip too.

(Also, the tweets about how hard her work is from the past few days really hit different when you realise she's been on holiday in sunny Florida for the past two weeks.)

John and Frank aren't plebes; when they go on their vacations to Disney World and cosplay conventions, they fly. That is odd when you consider how much John raves about his love of the open road. Why isn't one of their four vehicles a classic 1960s Mercedes-Benz touring sedan with space for three dismembered hitchhikers in the trunk?

Nah, he wanted to campaign for a position with national impact so he could get donors from all over the country, especially the west coast. This:
1. Allows him to travel anywhere with campaign funds
2. Increases his donations from rich leftists in silicon valley
3. Makes him a bigger deal than some lowly local politician

And really, no one gives a shit about him in Boston because his only credentials as a gamergate victim and failed game developer are meaningless. He knows that no one will vote for him for any local position, and losing a campaign for the US congress as the scrappy underdog is something he can claim as an actual achievement, vs losing for superintendent of the water committee or whatever.

You're not even a scrappy underdog if you come out at the absolute bottom of the primary election of your own party. You're literally just a completely pathetic loon hated even by your own side, and at the same time considered such an insignificant sideshow freak that Stephen Lynch, so far as I remember, never even acknowledged John's existence, much less bothered to "campaign" against John's nonexistent efforts.

That is true, but in John's mind it's about the effort, not the outcome. I mean he basically makes it one of his top three accomplishments and lists it in his twitter bio. He ran for US congress! He got a lot of donations from a bunch of idiots with more money than sense! He made ads with his name on it!

He is very work-shy, and any "job" he has needs to be one where he can delegate all the actual work while he gets paid for tweeting about how important he is. He also works with no-names so no one will listen or care when they get fustrated about his lack of real leadership and work ethic.
 
There is absolutely no way that all of the shirt sizes were too big for that hulking monstrosity. This is the most absurd lie I've seen from Brianna in, like, hours.

maybe while John bitches about 'people in positions of power' only caring about 'the coasts' he should check himself on his assumption that the atlantic and pacific coasts are the only coasts that count and are "THE coasts"
