I've always wanted somebody to come out and be able to openly accuse Wu of having stolen the characters of John Walker Flynt from Election Eve, since they're practically unchanged design (and name) wise between that old shitty college paper comic and the implementation in R60. This would, I believe, lead to one of two situations, neither of which would end well for Wu.

1. Wu is forced to publicly admit they are trans and that as having been John Walker Flynt all along, they have the rights. This settles the problem then and there but of course Wu's entire narrative shatters irreparably in the process.

2. Wu claims John Walker Flynt gave them permission to use the designs (which are so unique there's no way they aren't based on the same source), but assuming this doesn't immediately lead to the first situation because of how obvious it is if you compare pics of John and Wu, the alternative situation here is that suddenly John Walker Flynt mysteriously vanished off the face of the Earth and Wu suddenly becomes a person of interest in a missing persons case. Naturally this second situation is absurd as hell but we're talking Brianna Wu here, who postulated that Moon Rocks bullshit and continued the narrative of being forced from their house after it was proven they didn't fucking go anywhere. SOMEHOW Wu would smokescreen their true identity but that would lead to the 'person of interest' situation, potentially being liable for their own murder and hiding the body.

Has anyone ever actually said who GG's kill count is? These dangerhairs - not just Becky, who could be relied on to do so, but an awful lot of others - all seem to believe that people died because of GamerGate. But it's not even like the Farms where they take a death (or a faked death) and blame it on us; they just say it as a fact but not a single name is ever referenced.

Asking undoubtedly gets you blocked, but I still want to know - who did GamerGate kill? What are their names and how was GamerGate allegedly responsible? From where I sit, people like Quinn and Basic Becky have contributed more to people dying than GamerGate - or, for that matter, the Farms - due to suicide. Even Wu has at least one dog death on her hands, but probably at least two: Beyond the dog they let freeze to death, the Wu's used to have three dogs, and then suddenly it was just two and no mention was ever made that the number had gone down.

The closest I can think of is a GG guy who killed his father, and that was nothing to do with GG and I bet these cunts don't even know about it to assign blame. To them, some anonymous marginalised women must have died, just because otherwise they're still blaming all their problems years after a few tweets from people calling them out on their bullshit.

Also keep in mind that these are the very people who say "people who menstruate" or "people who breast feed" in order to exclude women from women's problems.

On the subject of Crash the dead dog, Wu at least used to acknowledge the dog was dead, once posting a picture of the box containing the dog's ashes, but not ONCE ever admitting they literally neglected the dog to death because they were too busy posting pictures of the dog suffering on Twitter.

And as for the kill count, the closest I can think of there is Chole Segal, a tranny game dev, who set themselves on fire and left a suicide note decrying the poor state of mental health care in society. Naturally, their "allies" completely fucking ignored this note and went about blaming the usual suspects, the farms included.

EXACTLY! I think it unquestionably had a big impact as embarassing as that may be. BUT, people are SO sick of hearing about it that they just want to forget it now. Because every damn time GamerGate is brought up it makes no sense! It's described as something completely different with no relation to previous descriptions of GG! Because the whole debacle meant different things to different people, most of which lied about what GG was then forgot they were lying.

Understatement of the millennium. Wu was a literal nobody that no one had heard of which Zoe Quinn roped into her network of friends to be a fellow victim...only to then find out that Wu is a narcissistic nutcase that tried to make everything about themself! Like the first thing ANYONE had heard was Wu shouting "GAMERGATE IS TARGETTING ME! I'M SUCH A VICTIM!" and NO ONE in GG knew who they were. 98% chance all the harassment Wu got was from Quinn using sockpuppet accounts. From then on out, Wu considered themselves to be the primary target of GamerGate and brought it up CONSTANTLY, even trying to get into government to stop GG from ever happening again lest they WEAPONIZE MOON ROCKS.

I don't think you can find a more coo-coo crazy person to tell the story of GamerGate than Brianna Wu.

Yeah that's a pretty good summary. Thanks! I guess I focus too much on explaining why bad game journalism matters (because developers read reviews of their games to understand what they need to change and improve for the next game) and why GG tried so hard to take the moral high ground and prove they weren't evil (because if gamers are evil then it's morally justifiable to ban and censor certain content in games).

Well, one thing that always stuck out to me is how, for all that the gaming press tried to paint gamers and the gaming industry as some bastion about exploitation, sexualization, and depreciation of women as people...not ONCE did any of them ever mention games that actually made a point of doing this.

You know...like Duke Nukem Forever which starts with Duke getting a double blowjob from twin pop stars half his age, has women throwing themselves at Duke for the first half of the first level, and then the strip club level which is self-explanatory.

Instead, they focused on dumb shit like how the Hitman games encouraged randomly killing people, when the complete opposite is true and those games punish your score for killing non-targets.

The funny thing is I seriously doubt there is a single person who doesn't know John is a man the instant they see him, they just have to pretend he isn't. E.g., that newspaper that called him a tranny because it was just that obvious and why would anyone be a "closeted" tranny these days when they could get all the social justice?

Real talk tho, the fact that anyone simped or currently simps for Quinn confuses me. If anybody thinks that Quinn is attractive and not an obtainable 3/10 whose only real personality trait is hair dye then you need to reevaluate your self worth and image.
