Wu really thinks having that auto-delete tool, people will never know about his dumb mistakes. At least he is aware that he needs to make those tweets dissappear, or else, they will definitely be used against him and be effective at it because they will show his real self.

Anyway, everything bad he says is already archived and screencapped, so deleting evidence isn't going to help much anymore... and it's only getting worse with all the political aspect going on. So many sites laughed at his moon rocks tweets even when he deleted them, only that is enough proof that deleting past tweets won't help.

As John gets more famous, he's going to draw increasing levels of ire from the general public. Normies aren't "turning on her", they didn't know he existed before. Now they do, and they know he's a moron.

When you surround yourself with people who make a living out of claiming victim status and their associated sycophants, you break with the groupthink at your own peril.

Wu only had a finite amount of social capital to spend from gamergate, and all indications are it's pretty much gone.

I'm really baffled by this grifting scheme. Frank and John are rich, childless gay men. If they want to have some new tech toys, why not just buy them? Why go through the whole rigmarole of starting a real FEC-recognized campaign just to scam a few thousand dollars Frank wouldn't even miss?
My only guess is that it's another pie-in-the-sky get-rich-quick scheme like Revolution 60, and Frank is hoping a megadonor will swoop in and drop a few million on the campaign.

the whole purpose is to feed John's ego. Frank knows they're not going to make bank off the congressional run.

Indeed. It's pretty disgusting when a wealthy white man pretends to know how working class people live when he's been given everything he's ever had on a silver platter, first by a millionaire family he treats with contempt, and now by a wealthy husband after buying a fake vagina with other people's money, and is now running for office again funded entirely by personal wealth, after failing at a business where he also squandered hundreds of thousands of other people's dollars.

Stephen Lynch isn't like that, though.

"Born and raised in South Boston, Lynch is the son of an ironworker. He went into the trade after high school, working in an apprenticeship and later joining his father's union. He became the union's youngest president at age 30 while attending the Wentworth Institute of Technology. He received his J.D. from Boston College Law School in 1991."
