Oh for fucks sake, it's about maintaining decorum. When you fly using company travel benefits, your family must dress nicely, male or female. This is not an issue of sexism.

*EDIT* To add, every airline has this policy, and it's actually been relaxed over the years.

I wasn't thinking about where John would be without Frank. He'd probably be in an equally dismal situation. Still, the fact that he actually got a sweetheart from the ground-up to handle him means he must be a bit higher functioning than Chris.

Exactly. I keep hearing about this on the news and it's driving me nuts. The dress code I had to abide by were way harsher (for my travel benefits) . These chicks are getting dirt cheap (if not free) air travel, how dare they complain about mild restrictions.

I used to have to wear a suit as a kid, now it's business casual.

I'm not an expert on this kind of thing by any means but I actually think John is considerably smarter than Chris. I know, I know. It pains me to say it, but please hear me out.

John can actually write a somewhat coherent article. Granted, the articles he writes are often patently idiotic and full of flimsy logic and complete nonsense, but he is at least capable of stringing together some words and conveying his thoughts. He no doubt has plenty of editorial assistance doing so, nevertheless the overal quality of writing is several cuts above the incoherent ramblings Chris churns out. Unlike Chris, I also think John has the ability to at least grasp at some level of abstract political thought and is able to harness it to be a more convincing manipulator on weak willed, unknowledgeable or uninvested people.

If I were to guess, I would say that in terms of pure cognitive ability, Chris is in the range of one to two standard deviations below the mean. I would actually put John right around average. I think the perception of a lower IQ in this case is based on Johns propensity to shine a spotlight on his lack of ability by constantly upping the ante on his insatiable vanity and thirst for attention. In other words, he looks dumb because he tries to constantly prove he is smarter than he is. Chris fucks up in pretty spectacular ways as well, but John's fuckups are a bit more sophisticated. To wit, Chris' hot-plate house fire vs R60. Both failures measure within the same order of magnitude financially, however one was the result of negligence and the other was actually planed out and involved hiring people, and legal contracts. As you said, this is a function of Frank's influence as well as access to capital, but I contend that while not by much, John is operating with a little bit more upstairs.

In both cases, their lack of ability to relate to others, or exhibit any measure of empathy and self awareness really clouds things and make all of this really hard to pin down. They both have made some unexpected moves that could easily swing the balance completely the other way.

In the last 10-4 years I had (as a female *gasp*) was expected to wear dark coloured pants or knee length skirt, then a dress shirt or sweater that covered me appropriately. That seems like a very loose dress code for dirt cheap travel. Then again these troons see "work" as being oppressive.
 
CWC's got a bigger body of work. CWC's presence has been requested at conventions instead of Wu weaseling and buying on to panels. CWC's probably made way more money even if we aren't looking at gross vs net. CWC has documentation that he completed his college classes.

Before all-knowing professional journalist Flynt/Wu moves to get rid of daylight saving time, he should learn that it is not called daylight savings time. (This is a common test question in undergraduate journalism editing classes.) That one person can have so little knowledge of such a wide range of topics is astonishing, especially when that person constantly screeches about what a genius he is.
 
Brianna hasn't said anything about the up coming Boston Comic and Entertainment Convention (BCEC) so is it safe to say he wasn't invited for free? Or does he prefer smaller conventions because of the evil GG lynch him?

Also, last time I had to fly anywhere I had to dress like I was going to my own funeral.

John is about as politically aware as Phil, in that he only takes up positions that will make him popular or that he can personally get something out of, in that order. You also don't have to look much further than John's tweets to know what his unedited writing is really like - they only seem "smarter" than Chris' Fapbook posts because the topics he discusses ostensibly seem deeper, when it reality he doesn't know shit about anything. It's particularly apparent when John goes on autistic rants about things like toys or vidya.

Make no mistake, John is an authoritarian bully, a selfish twat, and dumb as rocks. He's not even capable of being "broken clock" right, because all of his opinions are formed by utterly selfish and immature motivations, exactly like how you can make a child do a 180 on his opinion by giving him candy precisely because a child lacks enough knowledge to form a firm opinion on anything.
