Cheating in one of the most linear FF games is an accomplishment.

How the fuck do you suck that badly at video games?

Wait, Wu did this in FFX-2 of all games?

That game made it very easy to level up. Heck, compared to FFX, it was very easy in general. Past the halfway point of the game it got a bit harder, and by the end it could be challenging depending on whether you were trying some of the harder bonus content, but the main game was pretty hard to fail in unless you were just so stupid even the absolute basics of gameplay eluded you.

I can understand feeling the need to cheat in FFX (and even that game didn't really require it if you are halfway decent at RPGs, though some boss fights could be hellish if you hadn't focused on making certain characters good), but anyone who had to blatantly cheat in FFX-2 just sucks at RPGs in general.

Why does it have a Russian Air Force roundel?

This Tweet (like most she does) is actually worse, let me show you what people might get from those without any prior knowledge of "Representative Wu":

+ She is 'tech savvy'

o She plays video games
o She informs herself about current gaming issues

- She is not able to complete something like a video game (AKA kids stuff) without cheating
- She seems to spend time and effort one something petty like cheating in a video game
- She likes to go the 'easy way', instead of doing things as intended
- She tweets from her 'official account' about issues that don't matter at all in her political career
- She is a 40-year-old person who apparently plays a lot of video games
- She talks down to people that don't share her opinion

Touche. But Brianna didn't want that gameplay to get in the way of her playing Barbie dress-up with her digital gal pals.

Since you can only really dress up during battles...yeah, not surprised she cheated.

I'm not trying to shit all over your points, I just...I have X-2 on my Steam account and know how it works, okay?

It's cool, man. I have the game on the PS2 and the HD remake on the PS4. I feel like after having played through it half a dozen times I can at least take the piss out of it whenever I like. ;)

But yeah, when she was sperging hard about Final Fantasy a year ago or so, I was surprised that she didn't talk about X-2 more since it's clear she likes the game a lot. Some of her most prominently featured anime/video game figures are Yuna and Rikku from that game (can't remember if I've seen her having Paine but she probably does) and, well, the game itself is basically a schlocky JRPG Charlie's Angels.

We are talking about someone that believed that SUPERIOR gameplay was just spamming QTE and claimed that mobile games were superior for allowing new persons to get into the media when in reality he only loved it because he can hide his incompetence with paid items

Uh huh yeah, any day now.

OK. Straight dawg time. Has there been any evidence at all that the "TRUMP BACKED BY RUSSIA!!!1" meme is legitimate? I've only seen unconfirmed and anonymous reports from alleged CIA operatives and I'm not so inclined to take those on blind faith after 2003. Anyone got any further deets on this?

I don't want to go far off topic here so it's probably fair to say that the idea that Russia helped Trump win (by going after Clinton) is not at all outside the mainstream in liberal circles (right now Wu is going after liberals, not voters on average). There are also questions about whether there might have been some collusion between the Trump circle and Russia on this and also questions about financial ties (no tax return release, etc). The fact that one member of the Trump administration has had to resign because he lied about his ties with Russians and discussions with them is an indication of this. But most of it is smoke right now, without the smoking gun.

So, if you're suggesting that Wu is reaching to conclusions without sufficient evidence and going completely overboard where most people would urge caution until investigations are done well... yeah. Classic Wu.

Not really. UK-side it's hard to find any media reporting that doesn't just loop back around to media reports. It started with the (somewhat plausible) notion that Wikileaks was provided the DNC leaks by hackers affiliated with the Russian govt, the motive being roughly that Trump would let them do their thing in Syria/Ukraine if he was POTUS.

This was frequently disingenuously reported here as "Russians hacked the election", which further muddies the waters. I'm willing to bet that this is as far as Wu has read into it, as all her "research" seems to come from Medium pieces by shrieking jackasses with her exact views.

Flynn had an unauthorised exchange with the Russian ambassador- he discussed the sanctions and (his offence) he then told the incoming government he hadn't. The transcripts were leaked, and the cat was out of the bag. The Sessions job is the media smelling blood, pure and simple. Senators routinely meet ambassadors, sometimes during campaign season. Obama's lot did it in 2008, because though they were campaigning for Obama, they still had work to do as senators.

Is the Russia thing a political issue? Sure- Trump definitely seems like more of a dove on the Russia question (perhaps to the point of overt friendliness) than many in his own party, and indeed the Democrats. Also, his NSA chief had an unauthorised discussion about sanctions with Kislyak and lied about it. That's a foreign policy question that will need sorting out by informed debate. Is Trump controlled by the Kremlin in order to advance Russia as a threat to liberal democracy (and trannies in videogames) or whatever? No, but it's hard not to see that as being Wu's take on the subject. After all, he's an expert from the moment he reads a tweet about an issue.

There's been zero conclusive evidence of a Trump - Russia collusion. There's been zero conclusive evidence that Russia had anything to do with the DNC email hacking.

Dems latched onto this Russia mania because it offers it a safe excuse as to why they have been wiped out of every level of govt. (It's not our fault it was rigged! it's Putin!)

Has anyone read Twitters latest idea of getting rid of "harassment" on Twitter? Like not being to @ people who don't follow you and getting rid of "low quality" Tweets whatever that's supposed to mean.

I'm sure Wu will love that

She was praising the Times how many tweets ago?

Also, I know this is from 14 hours ago, but I'm honestly curious

How do you mistakenly tweet someone's business card while in the process of ordering a part for a car? Where do those streams cross?
